Sustaining during uncertainty…
To Our GDCA Family, Customers and Partners:
As we continue to navigate these deeply challenging times, we are reminded of our commitment to serve our customers, support our employees, and reassure our community. On March 16th, the California state and local authorities issued a mandatory “shelter-in place” order for the San Francisco Bay Area to limit the community spread of SARS-Coronavirus-2.
GDCA was quick to respond to this mandate and mobilized our team to establish a remote office. However, due to the travel restrictions to essential services only, we had to close our manufacturing lab to ensure everyone’s safety.
On March 19th, we were notified that GDCA qualified as an essential business, due to our work supporting our national security. On March 30, we reopened our factory, supported by some new and conservative COVID-19 safety protocols to ensure the health and safety our people. (We’re happy to share these protocols with anyone who would find them helpful.)
Our teams have been in contact with all our customers to provide personal updates on what impacts, if any, this disruption is having on their orders.
Our leadership team will continue to monitor and adjust to the impacts of this pandemic on our employee’s families, customers, and industry. We are ready to respond and serve in any way we can to reinforce our community resilience. And to our customers and partners, we say, we are here.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay home.
